EUSR Safe Dig Cat 1: Locate Utility Services
Cost: £160 + vat EUSR Safe Dig Category 1 training covers the knowledge and skills required to safely detect utility services using a CAT & Genny. This is an EUSR endorsed programme and covers the basic requirements of HSG47: Avoiding Danger from Underground Services.

About the Event
Category 1: Locate Utility Services covers the minimum training and assessment required for those working to safely detect utility services using recognised and approved detection methods. The course covers HSG47: Avoiding Danger from Underground Services.
Achievement of the standard demonstrates effective performance, by being able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:
- Interpret utility drawings and line search documents
- Use location equipment to locate underground services
- Identify the dangers and hazards associated with underground services
Course duration: 08:00-15:00.
Lunch will be provided on the first day only. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies.
You must bring your own PPE to the course. This must be a high vis jacket or vest, steel toe cap boots and a hard hat. If you do not bring the correct PPE you will not be able to participate in the practical elements of the course.
